It's tough in Winter

There's no doubt that eating 100% raw is tougher in the cooler winter months but you know what, it doesn't matter if you mix a few cooked meals into your week, as long as they are wholefood, vegetable based meals. Some vegetables, such as carrots actually need a bit of heat to help unlock the enzymes. There is no hard and fast rule in life, do what feels right, follow your intuition!

I love a good hearty vegetable soup, and I love miso soup with raw vegetables and spices thrown in too! Check out my Yum Yum receipe on the Main Meals page. It's 100% raw but uses kettle water to create a warm broth and it's so delicious.

I've also added a few more raw desserts to that section that I can personally vouch for as rather good!
